About The Position

The Amazon Device Reverse Logistics (ADRL) finance team is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making for its reverse logistics operations. This role involves close partnership with operations, supply chain, and business leadership to ensure financial rigor and accountability across the ADRL portfolio. A typical day for the Finance Manager involves a blend of financial stewardship and people leadership, including tracking cost performance with operations and supply chain teams, managing monthly close and forecast cycles, coaching and developing the team, and preparing financial insights for senior leadership reviews. The position demands rigorous analysis and strategic influence to ensure ADRL's reverse logistics operations maintain financial discipline and accountability. The ADRL Finance team is a high-impact group responsible for driving financial rigor across the entire reverse logistics lifecycle, from returns intake to disposition. They manage financial planning, reporting, and analytical work to ensure ADRL meets its cost and efficiency goals. The Finance Manager leads this team, providing direction, developing talent, and acting as the primary financial voice to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 3+ years of advanced proficiency in Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.) experience
• 5+ years of directly managing and leading a team of 5+ members experience

Nice To Haves

• 6+ years of mentoring junior finance and/or business team members experience
• 3+ years of working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite) experience
• MBA, or CPA

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of finance professionals, providing mentorship, career development, and performance management
• Own end-to-end financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for ADRL operations
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting with actionable insights for senior leadership
• Partner with operations and supply chain teams to identify cost reduction opportunities and drive efficiency improvements
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic business decisions, including inventory disposition, refurbishment economics, and returns processing
• Provide financial oversight and analysis of capital expenditures and vendor contracts
• Lead financial due diligence for new programs, partnerships, and process changes within ADRL
• Communicate financial results, risks, and opportunities clearly to VP-level and above stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, tools, and reporting infrastructure
