As a trusted subject matter expert, you’ll deliver exceptional service to our medical staff—listening to their concerns, interpreting contract terms, and clearly explaining bonus calculations and performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years in finance or accounting within a hospital or healthcare organization.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Hands-on experience with financial modeling, pro forma development, and forecasting.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years in a management or supervisory role (preferred).
  • Familiarity with data querying and BI tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Compensation Modeling & Analysis Design and maintain physician and APP compensation models, including base pay, incentives, and productivity metrics (wRVUs, collections, visits).
  • Conduct scenario modeling to evaluate the financial and operational impact of compensation changes.
  • Lead benchmarking efforts through survey participation and market analysis
  • Partner with strategy, operations, and finance teams to build pro formas for new hires, service-line growth, and acquisitions.
  • Assess financial viability of recruitment and expansion opportunities.
  • Integrate compensation impacts into revenue, expense, and volume projections.
  • Support annual budgeting for provider-related expenses.
  • Monitor performance against budget and forecast, identify variances, and deliver root-cause insights.
  • Spot trends, risks, and opportunities tied to compensation strategy.
  • Create dashboards, executive summaries, and deep-dive analyses for leadership and physician committees.
  • Translate complex financial models into clear, actionable narratives.
  • Collaborate with HR, legal, revenue cycle, and clinical teams to ensure alignment.
  • Develop SOPs, data governance protocols, and internal controls to ensure compensation data integrity.
  • Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Stay current on regulatory compliance (Stark Law, Anti-Kickback, FMV) and advise stakeholders accordingly.
