About The Position

Job Summary: Provide and lead financial decision support with business partners and research and recommend options and solutions for improved business results to senior management. Manage 2-3 direct reports supporting the manufacturing, sales, and product divisions. Lead and oversee financial reporting among the Global Reporting team and support new business initiatives, system integrations, and other major change management impacting the Global Reporting team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • At least 5 years of financial planning, reporting and/or analysis experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience providing financial advice and counsel to P&L/business owners.
  • Experience contributing to strategic decision making and goal setting initiatives.
  • Experience leading profit improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to manage and analyze large financial datasets to support internal management reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business
  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel and other ERP financial systems.
  • Experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.
  • Experience working with Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) or other enterprise financial planning platforms.
  • Experience with data integration, validation, and reconciliation between financial systems.
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel and other ERP financial systems.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial results, trends and metrics monthly
  • Communicate key drivers in regards to the full financial profit and loss statement (sales, AGM, customer drivers, adjustments, etc.).
  • Develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.
  • Oversee and manage the Management financial reporting by managing, analyzing, and interpreting large volumes of data to support business decision making.
  • Support new business initiatives, system integrations, and other major change management impacting the Global Reporting team.
  • Support the month end close for internal management reporting develop and implement process improvements to reduce reporting cycle time.
  • Support the monthly reconciliation of data between EPBCS and FCCS by proactively collaborating with the FCCS team that reports under US GAAP.
  • Provide specialized expertise through leading special projects and financial reviews.
  • Lead special projects within Global Reporting team to drive process improvement and consistency.
  • Serve as backup to the Director of Financial Reporting.
