The ideal candidate will possess a team oriented attitude; Must possess a desire to learn, and apply a ‘sense of urgency’ when required This position assists the Product Cost Analysts who are responsible for creating financial models used to calculate the cost of a product and determine the sell price needed to meet expected financial metrics. Assist cost analysts in day-to-day work as well as monthly reporting and special projects. Including: - Monthly gross margin reporting - Building financial models - assist with customer price breakdowns - Assist with the annual sales forecast - Monitor and track program margins and create trends Skills you will learn / Experiences you will gain: You will become very proficient in Microsoft Excel. Learn Formulas, pivot tables, graphs Learn product costing, sensitivity analysis, and elements of cost drivers: Raw material, purchased parts, labor and overhead Learn financial metrics: gross margin, operating profit, net present value, return on investment Learn how to build a financial model, compare cost and pricing and help drive business decisions You will develop into a strong and effective team player while working with a geographically distributed support team.
