We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern who will be responsible for performing various tasks to gain exposure to the Finance department of SUSA. As an intern, you will rotate through the FP&A, Finance and Accounting, and Income and Sales Tax functions. You will gain experience with financial statement review, data input and analysis, and financial modeling. This will be a 10-week summer internship program. The role is based at our Philadelphia office.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at a 4-year university as a rising sophomore or junior majoring in Finance or Accounting
  • GPA: 3.2 or higher

Responsibilities

  • Assist in data collection and analysis to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Assist in the preparation of month-end financial reporting for SMG staffing expense, general expense, and headcount, including budget and forecast to actual variance analysis.
  • Support the SMG budgeting and forecasting processes by streamlining and managing templates and aggregating data.
  • Assist the FP&A team with a variety of special projects including, but not limited to, reporting, financial analysis, data validation, and process re-design
  • Support Sales Tax by pulling and indexing returns, reviewing past-due notices, and assisting with data migration.
