About The Position

Fitch Group is seeking interns based out of our NY office. The internships will start June 15th and run for 9 weeks. We’ll Count on You To: Assist members of the team on day-to-day tasks as well as focus on a number of specific long-term projects in one of the following areas: Management Accounts Assist with month-end close, variance analysis, review business processes, local compliance returns, and balance sheet reviews. Financial Planning & Analysis Help optimize processes, develop financial models and reports, assist with budgeting/planning and conduct financial analysis

Requirements

  • We are looking for students attending an accredited university working towards a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or similar analytical field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and ability to tackle complex problems in a structured manner
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • High level of focus on work quality and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP software
  • Experience using Open AI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, Meta Llama or similar LLM tools
  • A proactive attitude with a demonstrated ability to take initiative
  • Eagerness to learn and solve problems
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively
