The Finance Projects Intern will support cross-functional initiatives across PMO, Finance, Accounting, and Analytics. This role is designed for a highly analytical rising senior interested in operational efficiency, financial analysis, and enterprise-wide standardization efforts. The intern will gain practical experience working cross-functionally while developing foundational financial and analytical skills.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Analytics, Business, or a related field (rising senior)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, basic financial modeling preferred).
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in financial operations and business strategy.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior internship or campus leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis to identify process improvement and standardization opportunities
  • Assist in documenting current-state processes and identifying gaps or inefficiencies
  • Coordinate stakeholder interviews and summarize key findings
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide structured notes and follow-ups
  • Compile and analyze financial data to support business decision-making.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and research projects.
  • Collaborate on finance-focused, cross-functional projects spanning PMO, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, and other departments
  • Develop executive-ready summaries and presentations outlining insights and recommendations
  • Present final project findings and recommendations to leadership at the conclusion of the internship
