Finance Intern
About The Position
Barstool Sports is seeking a Finance Intern to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team for the summer. This role provides hands-on experience in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis, helping to support strategic decision-making across the company. This internship runs from May 26 to August 30 and is a hybrid role based out of our New York office. What You'll Do Work with cross-functional teams to track revenue, expenses, and key performance indicators (KPIs) Analyze key financial and operational metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement Help develop financial models to assess business performance and support decision-making Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business operations Assist with financial systems and AI integration (e.g. Netsuite, Shopify) What You Have Rising senior pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets; financial modeling a plus Familiarity with financial statements and basic accounting principles Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines Strong communication and organizational skills A passion for media, sports, and digital entertainment is a plus Pay Rate: $17.00/hr Barstool Sports is a company that will drive the way media is created and consumed for years to come. Requirements
- Rising senior pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
