About The Position

Assist in supporting the Finance department with accounting and financial tasks related to construction projects, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Ability to plan, organize, and communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Internet research.
• Dependability in meeting attendance guidelines.
• Review and accept company policies and procedures for performance.
• Show initiative in seeking increased responsibilities and volunteering for additional assignments when needed.
• Demonstrate ability to learn and apply new skills progressively.
• Make timely decisions using sound judgment while keeping appropriate people informed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in finance or accounting is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bank reconciliations and preparation of journal entries.
• Support accounts payable processes, including invoice review and routing.
• Assist in researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
• Participate in organizing and maintaining financial records, including scanning and indexing documents into company systems.
• Provide support for subcontractor invoice processing and voucher assembly.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
• Assist with special projects and other finance-related tasks as directed by the Finance Manager.
