Job Summary: Working from our downtown Chicago office, we are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Finance/IR/Capital Markets Intern to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program. KRG is a fast-paced environment and provides hands-on experience to develop skills needed to succeed in the REIT industry and the specific function relating to the internship. Interns will assist with a wide range of duties and will have the opportunity to interface with various business departments.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and Argus Enterprise
- Business, economics, or finance majors
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Responsibilities
- Corporate Finance focus on a wide variety of analysis on competitor behaviors and the current financial market.
- They create financial forecasts and potential strategies to share with investors and the Executive team.
- Using Argus Enterprise for projects surrounding budgeting and forecasting procedures
- Underwriting tenant credit of prospective retailers and monitoring quarterly earnings reports from major retailers in the portfolio
- Working with the transactions team to find potential acquisitions in target markets
- Generate reporting materials based on macroeconomic information for presentation to Executive Team
- Assist in creating presentations for the executive team, investors, and other departments
- Help improve and implement financial processes and procedures
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports
