Talarico for Texas is hiring a Finance Coordinator to join James Talarico’s US Senate campaign. This is a full-time, paid position perfect for someone interested in starting their career in Democratic campaigns. About You Dedicated to Democratic politics and ready to help elect James Talarico to the US Senate Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to juggle more than one project at once, along with strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with a team under tight deadlines and in a high-pressure environment
Requirements
- Ties to Texas preferred but not required
- Interest in and knowledge of Democratic politics
- Exceptional writing skills with strong attention to accuracy and detail
- Familiarity with GSuite tools, Microsoft tools, Numero, and NGP
- Access to reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Provide key administrative and organizational support for the finance team
- Coordinate communications and manage calendar/agenda for finance committee
- Assist with donor research projects
- Manage vetting process for finance team
- Staff events and travel the state for fundraising events as needed
