About The Position

Under general supervision, the Finance College Intern T provides administrative support to the accounting team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma with 1+ years of college experience in finance, accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills required
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Familiar with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other standard office tools
  • Ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation and maintenance of financial records and compiling of reports.
  • Participate in financial close process in areas which may include general ledger, SEC reporting, tax, cost accounting, and forecasting.
  • Compile and assist with the processing of Purchase Orders, Check Requisitions, Employee Requests, Sales Reports, and other forms.
  • Analyzing financial data using various software tools such as Tableau, Workiva, and Excel.
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other departments.
  • Assist with Finance related projects.
  • Perform administrative functions including faxing, copying, filing, and scheduling meeting rooms and equipment.
  • Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures.
  • Understand relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adhere to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company.
  • Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
