Finance professional to the global Finance PMI Tech team. Works with the PMI Tech Leadership team to achieve strategic and operational business objectives through providing financial and numeric insights. Oversees global and cross-functional resource allocation and investments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CPA/CFA preferred).
  • 8-12 years experience in FP&A or Finance Business Partnering, supporting senior leaders in a complex, global organization.
  • Strong ownership of financial planning cycles, rolling forecasts, KPI alignment, and scenario analysis.
  • Proven ability to build business cases, assess ROI, and drive cost control and productivity initiatives.
  • High numerical aptitude with the ability to turn data into clear insights and confidently challenge assumptions.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with diverse teams, and thriving in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic perspective on future resource requirements for PMI Tech and functions
  • Drive cost performance to achieve delivery within agreed short- and longer-term cost targets
  • Support and influence key investment decisions with independent and data driven insights
  • Provide Finance perspective on complex business issues, balancing customer and corporate/commercial needs to drive better business decisions, within the given financial constraints
  • Develop a customer-centric, capable and engaged Finance organization, focused on effective business partnering
  • Drive function’s delivery within PMI’ short, mid and long term cost targets including identification and delivery of cost productivity initiatives
  • Support and influence key operational and strategic decisions with independent and data driven insights
  • Set smart cost targets and optimize allocation across regions/markets/functions
  • Provide relevant inputs to support PMI’s growth algorithm
  • Challenge key assumptions and balance trade-offs and opportunities to improve top/bottom line
  • Work with the function management team and SP&D to define strategic plans and align OGSM (focus on KPIs)
  • Drive the design and support implementation of smart cost strategies to enable optimization of resource allocation across regions/markets/functions
  • Contribute in building an effective, engaged and diverse team; invest in own and teams’ professional growth with a focus on customer-centricity and business partnering
  • Establish & maintain effective communications framework with GBS teams for an efficient Finance Operating Model
  • Ensure team’s partnership with functions to define critical success factors in projects, ROI of initiatives, budget allocation, risk evaluation
  • Actively challenge functions to improve financial performance, championing the creation of innovative financial solutions to help the business
  • Drive/support investment decisions and define metrics and targets including go/no-go/proceed project decisions
  • Provide key business planning assumptions, trade-offs and opportunities
  • Ensure alignment with Business Development activities where required
  • Oversee the Finance cycles management (OB/RF) and integrate them to the overall strategy cycle
  • Drive forward looking adjustments and the analysis of deviations
  • Present best-fit solution options to drive resources allocation decisions
  • Ensure alignment / communication of financial assumptions on centrally developed programs to regions/markets/cross-functionally
