Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and/or 1-3 years of progressive accounting experience
Microsoft Office experience
Accounting software experience
Accounts receivable experience

Nice To Haves

NetSuite accounting software experience
2 years Accounting or Finance experience (with degree)
Advanced Excel skills

Responsibilities

Utilize knowledge of accounting principles related to classifying, recording, and summarizing data and making computations to compile and keep financial records.
Assist in preparing, recording and reviewing customer and vendor transactions
Finalize accounting reports.
Study and analyze accounting records for purposes of preparing ad hoc statements and reports.
Keep and verify records of transactions; compute and verify amounts; prepare records; combine data; and compute costs, verify bills, invoices, rates, and amounts due.
May be involved in analyzing past and present financial operations and future estimates.
Analyze records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred.
Assist in the maintenance of budgeting systems that provide control of expenditures made to carry out business activities
