What you will do Role Overview: The Finance Associate supports senior team members in sourcing, structuring, and executing third‑party financing transactions and contributes to the analytical and presentation materials required for EDPR NA’s investment and financing decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field; MBA/Master of Finance preferred
  • 2+ years’ work experience in energy or finance
  • Hands-on knowledge of valuation and financing modelling
  • Direct work experience in the tax equity or project finance industry preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with complementary data tools a plus
  • Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise preferred
  • Travel: Up to 10%

  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain and enhance financial models used for third-party financings (tax equity, project finance, DCF, etc.) and internal decision-making processes
  • Perform valuation and analytical work to support structuring and execution of third-party financial transactions (including tax equity partnerships, tax credit transfers, project finance, or back-leverage financings) and other internal ad-hoc requests
  • Assist with due diligence processes by collaborating with internal cross-functional teams and with external consultants (appraisers, independent engineers, etc.)
  • Support senior Finance team members with the preparation of deliverables to achieve funding milestones
  • Prepare materials required for asset marketing (project teasers, info-memos, factsheets) and for corporate decision-making committees
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve standardization within the team
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
