Responsibilities

  • Completes detailed analysis and commentary for finance and non finance executives
  • Develops complex modeling in support of strategic plans, business sizing and performance mgmt.
  • Performs required activities and analysis to complete close, flash or commit with minimal oversight on recurring tasks
  • Interacts and presents analytical findings to various stakeholders. At times, may act as a direct business partner with non finance mgmt.
  • Key participant or lead for system integration or process improvement initiatives
  • Own Sustainability Group P&L support including revenue, COS, GM, OPEX, and operating margin.
  • Lead monthly close, variance analysis, and executive‑ready commentary explaining drivers vs. plan, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Ensure financial integrity and transparency as Sustainability transitions into more independent cost / profit center structures.
  • Own Sustainability Group inputs for Corp submissions, AOP, rolling forecasts and outlooks.
  • Build and maintain driver‑based models to assess cost, margin, and investment scenarios.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities early; frame tradeoffs clearly for leadership decision‑making.
  • Act as a trusted finance partner to Sustainability business and engineering leaders.
  • Support investment reviews, ROI / NPV analyses, and prioritization of sustainability initiatives.
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, concise insights tailored for VP‑level and cross-functional audiences.
  • Partner with central teams on cost allocation frameworks , ensuring accuracy, transparency, and consistency.
  • Track and explain allocation impacts across MDP and Sustainability organizations.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement.
  • Support sustainability‑related project portfolios (e.g., product development, customer programs, environmental initiatives).
  • Monitor spend vs. authorization, funding timing, and capitalization / expense treatment where applicable.
  • Ensure alignment between financials, operational milestones, and business objectives.
  • Drive improvements in forecasting accuracy, reporting efficiency, and data quality.
  • Leverage Copilot, SAP, planning tools, and analytics to reduce manual work and improve scalability.
  • Partner with FP&A, ACE, and systems teams to standardize processes as the Sustainability business matures.
