About The Position

Performs a variety of professional-level research, analytical, and administrative duties and studies of moderate complexity related to the business, technological, and operational activities of assigned functions, operations, programs, department, and/or division. Manages the day-to-day operations, processes, and activities of assigned functional area. Under direction, assist in implementing processes, procedures and programs. Tasks may include: Assist in implementation and management of department processes, special projects, and studies, including conducting surveys and performing research and analysis on operational issues. Analyze documents, reports and special projects. Under direction, designs and plans procedures within specific area of responsibility. Utilize available computer systems resources and personnel to carry out analysis to support management’s quest for performance improvement. Review and analyze information, forecasts, methods, schedules, systems, processes, and procedures. Assist in identifying and resolving operational and administration issues; observes, gathers, compiles, verifies, analyzes, and correlates pertinent information, facts, and data; identifies alternative solutions or sound conclusions; and make and assist in the implementation of recommendations. Represent the City to community groups, outside agencies, and professional organizations as required. The duties listed above are not intended to be all-inclusive. An employee may also perform other related duties as assigned by their immediate supervisor. This position is considered exempt.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in specific functional area; two (2) years of relevant professional experience.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
