About The Position

The Freshman Finance Intern will contribute to the organization’s financial operations while developing foundational skills under the close guidance of experienced finance and accounting professionals. This role is designed to provide hands‑on learning, exposure to core business processes, and opportunities to engage with leaders across the company. The intern will support day‑to-day financial activities, assist with reporting, and participate in key operational cycles that drive business performance.

Requirements

• Must be able to communicate effectively with other employees and be a team player.
• Must be able to express ideas and thoughts in an effective manner.
• Must be able to produce clear and concise written communications.
• Must be currently enrolled in an Accounting or Finance program working towards B.S. in finance, accounting or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Word.
• Telephone, personal computer, and various office equipment.

Responsibilities

• On the job financial modeling and data analysis
• Learning from leaders in finance and accounting
• Engaging with business leaders across the company
• Experience with SAP software for the management of business process
• Assist with financial data entry, recording transactions, and maintaining financial records.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Participate in audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Collaborate with the finance team on various projects.
