We have an opening for a Manufacturing / Operations Technician in our Production Facility in Goleta, California, that is involved in the packaging of IR detectors for high reliability space, military and commercial applications. You will train to become a skilled Final Test Technician in a variety of processes as assigned by management. You will be tasked with performing several different types of tests while utilizing different procedures and software. Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Manufacturing Test experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with IR Systems, Focal Plane Assembly packaging processes
  • Experience with FOD and FOD-prevention methods
  • Experience with ESD protocols
  • Experience with Cryogenic gases and liquids
  • Matlab, David Core, or Testlib software knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Under direct supervision you will apply basic skills in the execution of existing procedures
  • Use standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and goals
  • Performs more involved tasks
  • Refer to more complex issues to higher levels
  • Conduct test measurements utilizing multimeter
  • Use several types of small hand tools and calibrated equipment
  • Conduct Final Acceptance Testing on multiple programs
  • Rotate to and from Cleanroom lab environments
