About The Position

As a Machine operator you will be responsible for a variety of machine-specifics functions. The listed below are including but are not limited to.

Fin Press Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up the machine based on the work order. This includes but is not limited to changing row cutters, changing fin per inch, calculations for the job, setting stackers to fit the job, and changing material

Requirements

• Machine operator experience is preferred
• Forklift experience preferred (will certify in-house)
• Blueprint reading skills
• The ability to understand and convert decimals and fractions
• Detailed oriented
• Computer skill
• Good communication skills
• Ability to move at least 50lbs
• Ability to stand and use hand tools 8-10hrs per day
• Wear the necessary PPE for the position

Responsibilities

• Identify, confirm, and prioritize work to be performed using SAP
• Set up machinery and perform tool changes as needed
• Ability to perform changeovers
• Load programs/inputs into the machine control
• Operators perform daily PMs on machinery and equipment used
• Use proper tools on the machine
• Bunch, label, and stage parts for the next manufacturing process
• Perform and record daily preventative maintenance on machines
• Practice exceptional housekeeping
• Understand lock out, tag out
