This role will report to our Prestone site in Torrance, California.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
Must be able to bend, squat, and stand for long periods of time.
Capable of working in various temperature and environmental conditions.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably as a Drum and Tote Filler Operator or similar role.
Basic understanding of machine operation and mechanical troubleshooting.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts.
Experience with hazardous materials handling.
Knowledge of industry-specific safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.)

Responsibilities

Operate filling machines to fill drums and totes with materials accurately and efficiently.
Ensure proper setup, calibration, and maintenance of filling equipment.
Perform quality checks and inspections to verify that filled containers meet required specifications.
Ensure containers are sealed, labeled, and prepared for shipment according to company procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area and ensure compliance with all safety protocols.
Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of operational issues.
Record and document production data, including quantities filled and any incidents or deviations.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials.
Enter inventory information and generate requested reports.
Operate a forklift to move materials.
Maintain and track inventory accurately.
