About The Position
The Fill Prep Operator is responsible for preparing high-quality capsule fill according to customer specifications, including correct viscosity, color, and formulation. This role supports capsule production by delivering prepared fill to the Capsule Machine Room while strictly following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and company SOPs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and mix fill materials according to procedures and batch records
- Measure and weigh gelatin and dyes using manual and computerized scales
- Process fill batches and perform color conversions per SOPs
- Clean, inspect, and sanitize mixers, receivers, and equipment
- Operate electrical and pneumatic control equipment
- Maintain supplies and housekeeping in the Fill Prep (Mixing) room
