File Room Clerk is responsible for the management and maintenance of employee personnel files. Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Chief of Personnel duties include, but are not limited to: - Perform maintenance of the personnel file room and the storage of personnel records. - Ensure personnel files are alphabetized and perform review of the accuracy of filed records. - Maintain a log of employee records and related data entry. - Requisition of employee files and maintain log of files removed from the file room or archives. - Filing of documents and make copies upon request. - Archival of inactive files work on coordination with the Facilities Unit on the transfer of the records. - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. - Perform special projects as assigned.
