FileCloud Administrator
About The Position
This position is for a FileCloud Administrator located in Des Moines, IA, with a hybrid work arrangement. It is a long-term contract role, and the interview process will involve either video or in-person interviews. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in administering Amazon Web Services infrastructure within enterprise environments, along with hands-on experience supporting AWS-based VDI solutions such as Amazon WorkSpaces, Citrix, or VMware Horizon. The role requires experience in administering FileCloud or similar tools like SharePoint, Microsoft OneDrive, or Citrix ShareFile. Strong expertise in Windows Server and Linux system administration is essential, as is experience with cloud migration, server builds, environment setup, and data migration projects. The administrator will also be responsible for troubleshooting complex infrastructure, networking, storage, and application performance issues, and will have experience with deployment automation, patching, upgrades, and production support. A solid understanding of AWS services including EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, security groups, and monitoring tools is necessary, alongside strong knowledge of networking, storage, IT security, and distributed cloud environments. Excellent communication skills are required to support end users, work independently, and collaborate effectively across teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience administering Amazon Web Services infrastructure in enterprise environments.
