About The Position

This position is responsible for supervising all activities related to operations in the FIL (Line Off) Department on 3rd shift, through maintaining production and quality requirements, and ensuring compliance with company policy.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma/G.E.D. Required
  • 1-2 years direct required; 1 year indirect required; 1-3 years supervisory required
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Skill in organizing work activities and people
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree Preferred
  • 3 years direct preferred; 2 years indirect preferred; 4-7 years supervisory preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and controls production and quality requirements
  • Ensures all established production, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
  • Reviews production and operating reports and directs the resolution of production problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent production delays.
  • Performs daily supervisory duties to include safety accountability, training, attendance, positive employee relations, and compliance with company policy.
  • Ensures safety compliance.
  • Performs administrative activities, record keeping, and ensures compliance with company Policy:
  • Performs administrative activities and record keeping associated with the effective management of FIL operation, such as, compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports
  • Should be able to accurately complete multiple reports using Excel by the end of his or her shift, and these reports should be stored neatly and should be accessible in a timely manner.
  • Ensures team members follow departmental policies and procedures.
  • Provides coaching and discipline when needed.
