About The Position

At American Pest, our reputation is built by people who take pride in doing things the right way - every service, every customer, every day. We're looking for a Field Training & Development Supervisor who values consistency, accountability, and setting clear expectations, and who understands that strong training is the foundation of long-term success. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching by example, working one-on-one in the field, and helping others build confidence through proper training rather than shortcuts. If you believe high standards matter, take ownership seriously, and want to play a key role in developing technicians who represent our values of Trust, Integrity, and Quality, this position offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact. What You'll Get... We want to help our employees build not just a job, but a lasting career. At American Pest, you'll have access to a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, financial security, and work/life balance. What You'll Do... In this role, you'll work one-on-one with newly hired technicians, providing daily, hands-on field training that emphasizes safety, service quality, and doing the job the right way. You'll guide trainees through real-world residential and commercial work, model American Pest's standards, and deliver clear, consistent feedback as they build confidence and competence. You'll partner with Service Managers and Branch Managers to monitor progress and determine when each technician is ready to work independently. Your steady leadership and attention to detail will play a key role in shaping long-term success for both our technicians and our customers. Who You Are... This role is best suited for someone who is dependable, patient, and takes pride in holding themselves and others to high standards. You're comfortable working closely with new hires, providing clear guidance and consistent feedback, and you understand that strong training takes time, attention, and accountability. Who We Are... Founded in 1925, American Pest has built its reputation on consistency, professionalism, and doing right by our customers and employees for nearly a century. Based in Columbia, MD, we've grown steadily over time and now employ more than 425 people across the region. Our success isn't driven by shortcuts or quick wins, but by dependable people who take pride in their work and show up every day committed to doing things the right way. American Pest is part of Anticimex, a global pest control organization focused on modern, responsible pest management. Together, we value long-term thinking, ethical practices, and continuous improvement. Our culture emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and reliability - and we invest in people who want to build a lasting career with a company that plans to be here for the long haul.
