About The Position

Field Training Audiologist (Houston) Please Consider Before Applying: This is a full-time, field-based position located in Houston, TX. Candidates must currently reside in the Houston area or be willing to relocate to Houston prior to start date. This role is not remote. It requires regular in-person support, onsite training, and frequent field travel (up to 75%) within the region. Position Overview The Field Training Audiologist will contribute to sales and profitability by providing product and software training designed to increase customer knowledge, skills and familiarity with the ReSound product lines. The position also functions to provide audiological support, which includes hearing aid fitting and troubleshooting assistance, to influence buying behavior change from our customers. This position also includes providing audiology, technical and product training to ReSound employees. This position requires extensive field travel over large geographies with overnights on a weekly basis.

Proficient with oral and written communication across and upward
Confident in public speaking and workshop facilitations
Education: AuD or PhD in Audiology. Master’s Degree in Audiology considered
Experience: Clinical experience fitting patients with amplification in a variety of audiological environments
Travel: Extensive travel by air, auto and train
Ability to travel 75% of the time
Ability to manage travel expenses through personal and corporate reimbursement
Must be able to lift 15Ibs at a time, sitting, walking, standing, long and frequent air and land travel

Responsibilities

Regularly communicate pertinent account information to territory sales team members
Execute high quality and consistent customer training using Adult Learning Principles to illicit product buying behavior change
Support sales of ReSound products within the US by working closely and cohesively with assigned sales teams
Create customer training needs assessments and training plans to provide appropriate training solutions for accounts with measurable outcomes
Assist sales teams and overall sales support at national level conventions Primary events include, but are not limited to, the following: Consumer Education Seminars, Open Houses, and CEU Seminars and ongoing “in clinic” product training sessions
Play key role in promotion and demonstration of products during launch trainings
Provide consultative resources which will help develop the business growth of the customer to meet ReSound’s business needs
Schedule travel independently and within corporate guidelines that maximize the effectiveness and cost efficiencies while maintaining a full zoned week schedule.
Maintain appropriate administrative records. This includes maintaining expenses within published corporate guidelines, keeping your work calendar and zonal planning up to date, and attending all team and management calls
Interact with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, Technical Support and Research & Development to ensure quality customer experiences
Continuously develop training content through provided materials as well as creation of new materials
