Field Training Audiologist - Houston Position: Field Training Audiologist Reports to Title: Director of Training and Education Department/Division: Training/Commercial Sales Team Primary Work Location: Houston and East Texas, LA, MS and AL Job Code/Classification : Salary; Exempt Position Overview The Field Training Audiologist will contribute to sales and profitability by providing product and software training designed to increase customer knowledge, skills and familiarity with the ReSound product lines. The position also functions to provide audiological support, which includes hearing aid fitting and troubleshooting assistance, to influence buying behavior change from our customers. This position also includes providing audiology, technical and product training to ReSound employees. This position requires extensive field travel over large geographies with overnights on a weekly basis. Essential Functions (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions) Regularly communicate pertinent account information to territory sales team members Execute high quality and consistent customer training using Adult Learning Principles to illicit product buying behavior change Support sales of ReSound products within the US by working closely and cohesively with assigned sales teams Create customer training needs assessments and training plans to provide appropriate training solutions for accounts with measurable outcomes Assist sales teams and overall sales support at national level conventions Primary events include, but are not limited to, the following: Consumer Education Seminars, Open Houses, and CEU Seminars and ongoing “in clinic” product training sessions Play key role in promotion and demonstration of products during launch trainings Provide consultative resources which will help develop the business growth of the customer to meet ReSound’s business needs Schedule travel independently and within corporate guidelines that maximize the effectiveness and cost efficiencies while maintaining a full zoned week schedule. Maintain appropriate administrative records. This includes maintaining expenses within published corporate guidelines, keeping your work calendar and zonal planning up to date, and attending all team and management calls Interact with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, Technical Support and Research & Development to ensure quality customer experiences Continuously develop training content through provided materials as well as creation of new materials Other duties as assigned by management Competencies (Knowledge and Skills needed for this position) Follow the HR policy including all company and department policies and procedures.
