About The Position

Performs fieldwork with all product lines, including, but not limited to, the operation and maintenance of flow monitoring equipment, FlowSight, Accusonic, and other emerging product lines. Responsible for operating and maintaining all issued field equipment and vehicles associated with the above product lines. Accountable for compliance with Company Policies, Procedures, and safe work instructions.

Requirements

  • High school education or GED equivalent and a valid driver’s license. Qualified candidates must be able to successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Full safety certification, including third-party confined space entry and rescue.
  • Certification in the Core Flow Monitoring modules.
  • Strong technical aptitude with a background in engineering, instrumentation, or a related field.
  • Exhibits a mastery of all skills needed to fulfill the job requirements of an Environmental Field Technician 3.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in physically demanding environments
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for equipment calibration and troubleshooting
  • Satisfactory demonstration of field and safety training.
  • Respiratory fit testing and the ability to breathe under supplied air in hazardous environments
  • Employees will have completed safety certification to Level 4 at a minimum and will have obtained an expert understanding of all field operations.
  • Training in flow monitor site investigations must be completed. Additional training may be required as other needs arise. OSHA 10-Hour training must be completed. Additional training may be necessary as other needs arise. Safety Training Coordinator and Safety Management certification must also be completed.

Responsibilities

  • Performs as a field technology specialist providing user support for all products
  • Performs installs and deployments of hardware across all product lines
  • Understands Company Technology, including but not limited to Hardware and Software
  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues with flow monitoring systems.
  • Provide on-the-job training and mentoring for Environmental Field Technician & Field Technology Specialist
  • Supports the business development team for technical support with clients and trade shows
  • Installation of product lines within underground sewer lines
  • Installation of rainfall monitoring equipment
  • Hardware Calibration
  • Data Collection and analysis review for accuracy
  • Operation and maintenance of product lines
  • Analyze and develop solutions for challenging applications.
  • Demonstrate firm understanding of Technology and Data Outputs
  • Act as the topside confined-space attendant and perform rescue if necessary.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze flow data and provide actionable insights.
  • Maintain accurate, legible, and organized records in accordance with all ADS quality work instructions.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights using fall protection equipment, including harness and safety devices, while ensuring adherence to safety protocols
  • Maintain vehicle and equipment to ensure safety, mechanical soundness, and productive operation.
  • Extensive travel as required.
  • Work overtime hours as required.
  • Complete all required internal and external training requirements and certifications.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Adhere to all safety work procedures and ADS policies, procedures, and safety work instructions.
  • Perform permit-required Confined Space Entry
  • Set up standard traffic control work zones in high-density traffic conditions.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record.
