About The Position

Vibra-Tech, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician to support a pipeline project in the Greensboro, North Carolina & Danville, Virginia areas. This is a temporary position (about 2-4 months) with flexible and variable hours based on project demands. This may include overtime and weekends as necessary. As a Field Technician, you will travel near the project site and conduct pre-construction inspections, install and uninstall monitoring equipment, and test and sample water wells. The role requires a balance of fieldwork and office tasks. Candidates should be comfortable interacting with homeowners, business operators, and have good communication skills. Requirements

  • Travel is required, along with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (reimbursed at the prevailing IRS standard mileage rate)
  • Candidates must be able to lift 50–60 lbs and pass a drug screening
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document conditions accurately
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in construction, inspecting, or related fields is helpful

Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-construction inspections to document the condition of homes and surrounding properties of the project
  • Accurately record inspection data and prepare detailed reports for clients
  • Communicate with homeowners to explain the inspection process and address any concerns
  • Install and uninstall monitoring equipment such as seismographs and sound meter
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and data integrity
  • Work a combination of office and field hours, with flexibility as needed
  • Test and sample water wells
