JOB SUMMARY Caesars is seeking a Field Technician I to join our Do you like to solve technology puzzles? Would you like On The Job Training to be able to do so? In the role of Field Technician I, you will be responsible for responding to and resolving technical issues at partner properties. You will respond to service calls and travel to various properties to repair or inspect equipment to help prevent potential problems. This is a 100% on site, regional travel-based position requiring daily driving between properties and performing hands on installation and repair of kiosk and sportsbook equipment. This is not a remote or help desk role. HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY Provide technical assistance to William Hill and Caesars Sportsbook partner properties Respond to service calls in a timely manner, updating tickets, liaising with Software Support/dispatch on progress Travel to and from partner properties to identify, resolve or repair hardware/software problems Maintain and troubleshoot network and/or physical problems with our systems Install hardware/software following our design or installation specifications Proactively inspect equipment to help prevent future service calls Identify recurring issues, document, and report to the Software Support team for testing Explain and train software application procedures/instructions to sportsbook personnel Train and assist lower-level staff with installation and maintenance requirements. Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • 2 Years of service as a technician (casino/computer tech) or equivalent education.
  • Experience working with hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of network testing equipment.
  • Knowledge of Windows-based computers and basic ISP knowledge
  • Ability to work on your own, follow directions and complete assigned projects in a timely manner.
  • The ability to conduct yourself in a professional manner towards other staff and our customers.
  • Free of conflicts regarding subjective opinions or interests.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain any required gaming licenses
  • Must be able to lift, carry, pull, push 100lbs.
  • Must be able to twist, bend, reach, climb, squat or stoop with no significant boundaries.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to write for extended periods of time
  • The position requires a significant amount of driving. Enjoying driving would be helpful.
  • Must be 21 years old with a valid driving license and clean driving record
  • The successful applicant may be exposed to sounds at 90 decibels
  • The successful applicant may be exposed to a smoke-filled environment
  • You must successfully complete a background and drug screen

Responsibilities
