About The Position
The Driver for Field Technician supports daily operations by safely transporting technicians to and from job sites, ensuring timely arrivals, and assisting with basic logistical needs. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficiency, organization, and a positive customer experience in the field.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality
- Good navigation skills and comfort using GPS or routing apps
- Ability to lift and move equipment (as needed)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and safety-focused mindset
Responsibilities
- Safely drive technicians to scheduled service appointments throughout the day
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure on-time arrivals
- Maintain clear communication with technicians and dispatch regarding schedules and delays
- Assist with loading and unloading tools, materials, and equipment as needed
- Ensure the company vehicle is clean, fueled, and properly maintained
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety guidelines
- Provide professional and courteous interactions with customers when on-site
- Support technicians with basic non-technical tasks when needed
