About The Position

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on CDL Driver – Water & Wastewater Technician to deliver, install, and service mobile water and wastewater purification units at remote customer sites. This hybrid role requires safe commercial vehicle operation, basic mechanical and plumbing skills, and the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams. You will be critical to supporting field operations and ensuring clean water delivery to essential infrastructure locations.

Requirements

  • High School Grad; or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating manual transmission trucks, hauling loads, and behind-the-wheel driving
  • Valid CDL Class A with tanker endorsement (N)
  • Clean MVR with no more than 1 moving violations in the past 3 years
  • Must pass a DOT drug and alcohol screening
  • Acceptable background check with no DWI convictions in the past 5 years
  • Ability to lift and maneuver up to 40 lbs. and operate valves, hoses, and pump equipment
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration between department(s)
  • Willingness to travel, work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed
  • Strong awareness of safety protocols and environmental compliance
  • Respectable appearance and professional demeanor

Nice To Haves

  • Experience hauling water, wastewater, or non-potable liquids
  • Mechanical aptitude for field troubleshooting
  • General computer skills, including mobile apps and equipment diagnostics
  • Knowledge of oilfield or utility environments
  • Familiarity with customer service and technical field operations

Responsibilities

  • Operate manual transmission tanker/commercial trucks to haul water and wastewater to/from remote customer sites, treatment facilities, or disposal locations.
  • Load, transport, and unload liquid materials safely using proper procedures and PPE.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections; promptly report mechanical or safety concerns.
  • Maintain accurate driver logs, mileage, load documentation, and DOT-compliant inspection records.
  • Navigate urban, rural, and off-road environments safely, while ensuring load integrity and vehicle condition.
  • Rig up/down purification trailers as customer sites relocate or project needs change.
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance and light mechanical repairs on equipment.
  • Install and troubleshoot plumbing from source to end-use delivery.
  • Monitor equipment performance, ensuring water and wastewater units function properly.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and internal teams.
  • Assist in coordinating field service activities with operators, technicians, and remote monitoring teams.
  • Contribute to team learning by sharing experience and supporting fellow technicians.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and clean work environment, both in the field and at company locations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
