JCI Employee discount programs (The Loop by Perk Spot). What you will do : Field Support Leader Employees engage in Local Market Support, Training and Programming of Fire Alarm Systems. How you will do it: Coordination with Local Offices to provide Technical Training, Support and Escalation of Obstacles Remote Support Teams Channel Data Capture, Organization and Sharing Training and Literature Gaps, Development and Delivery Monthly Newsletter Creation and Distribution Technical Escalations – Coordination with Products Tech Support / R&D Remote Support Teams Channel Q & A Work with the Remote Programming Team in a Microsoft Teams Virtual Environment to share standard processes. Attend weekly Microsoft Teams meetings to discuss backlog and urgent projects. Upload completed projects to SharePoint and send those links to Local Offices to be downloaded to the Fire Alarm Panel. Be available when the program will be uploaded to help the Local Technician with any programming related issues. Promote the Team and develop working relationships with the Local Offices

Requirements

  • An Experienced Simplex Fire Alarm System Technician/Programmer.
  • Motivated, self-starter who has the ability to work from home.
  • Available to travel 25% of the time.
  • Required Minimum Experience: 15+ years Simplex Fire Alarm Technician/Programming Experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and Simplex programmers.
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying applicable NFPA standards, and in reading and interpreting construction documents.

Nice To Haves

  • NICET Level III certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination with Local Offices to provide Technical Training, Support and Escalation of Obstacles
