The Field Support Coordinator I oversees all branch shop operations and provides tooling and material support to field personnel. In certain branches, this position also ensures proper manpower allocation branch-wide and/or may transport materials to jobsites and/or other locations. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, and basic electrical knowledge is preferred.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience
  • Travel: None
  • Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Overtime may be required.
  • Must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Be able to communicate effectively and appropriately with customers.
  • Maintains tool inventory and processes tool and material returns.
  • Works with jobs to coordinate tool repair and replacement of tools.
  • Be the contact for issues/ concerns on jobsite deliveries.
  • Make appropriate decisions on shipping/ scheduling of tools/ assemblies to jobsite.
  • Schedules tool and material deliveries and pick-ups with the Specialists.
  • Teammate must gain and maintain forklift certification.
  • If promoted from Field Support Specialist you must maintain DOT qualifications.
  • Drive company vehicles as qualified and required.
  • Shelf/pick, log, clean, maintain tools as necessary.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
  • Mobile staircase, ladder usage, and pallet jack usage is required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and 5s principles within the F/S warehouse.
  • Coordinates building and grounds repairs and service calls.
  • Assist with ordering of supplies and PPE.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
