About The Position

The Field Supervisor is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality security services during assigned shifts. You will serve as the primary link between Security Specialists and Security Leads, ensuring operational excellence through active supervision, real-time coaching, and performance recognition. In this role, you will drive team accountability and collaborate with leadership to administer performance management, ensuring all safety and service standards are met consistently.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with at least one year of licensed experience to support mobile patrol and site inspection duties.
  • Demonstrate a safe driving history with no major violations in the last 36 months and no more than one accident or minor moving violation within the last 24 months.
  • Must possess/maintain a valid Guard Card/Security License.
  • As a condition of employment, the employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Communication: Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner.
  • Technical Proficiency: Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
  • Self-Control: This role requires maintaining composure, keeping emotions in check, controlling anger, and avoiding aggressive behavior, even in very difficult situations.
  • Dependability: This role requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable in fulfilling obligations.
  • Critical Thinking: This role requires the ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Mobility: You are required to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Environment: Indoor and outdoor work required; exposure to varying weather conditions may occur.
  • Travel: Required to drive a company/client vehicle between sites and work for multiple clients at multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight: Ensure all active posts, including temporary or ad-hoc jobs, are fully staffed during your shift. This includes managing call-offs and securing suitable coverage.
  • Field Inspections: Conduct weekly inspections of active posts and Security Specialists to ensure compliance with customer requirements and TRIDENT standards.
  • Personnel Support: Act as the primary point of support for Security Specialists by conducting field training, performing welfare checks, and addressing personnel questions or concerns.
  • Emergency Management: Respond to and report all emergency situations during your shift. Handle crises calmly and provide basic first aid, CPR, or AED assistance as certified.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed records of daily activities, including equipment damage, theft, or unusual occurrences. Ensure post orders remain up to date and relevant.
  • Professional Communication: Maintain the ability to communicate via computer or phone and respond to all urgent inquiries within 30 minutes.
  • Customer Excellence: Act as a visible deterrent to rule infractions while assisting client employees and visitors with professional customer service.
  • Operational Flexibility: Remain available to work for multiple clients across various locations, often filling last-minute requests or special projects.
