About The Position

ASC is seeking an experienced Sales individual for an Outside Sales opening as a Field Specialist - Valves. This role is based in Milwaukee, WI, and covers the Mechanical/Industrial markets (excluding Oil & Gas) across KS, MO, IL, WI, MN, ND, SD, and Northeast IN (Chicago Metro Area). The Valve Specialist will have the opportunity to enhance their knowledge of the valve industry and sales strategies. Primary sales efforts will target established Contractors, Engineers, and Distributors within the industry, with compensation including a competitive base salary plus commissions.

Responsibilities

  • Excel at demand generation through professionally demonstrating expertise and solutions selling to achieve a sales target
  • Build lasting relationships across a broad range of ASC-ES, contractor, distributor and industry constituents
  • Select, demonstrate and promote the best ASC-ES product solutions for specific end user applications to various customers
  • Work with distribution facing sales team in ASC-ES to assure sales closure, incremental product placement and achieve sales targets
  • Develop new contractor and project prospects for the ASC-ES Pipeline
  • Establish expertise and train key decision makers and users to ensure company-wide buy in for ASC-ES products
  • Act as the front-line champion for the success of ASC-ES new product rollouts in your given expertise area
  • Integrate into local trade organizations and associations to leverage contractor relationships for demand generation
  • Be the product team’s eyes/ears about what is happening in the field from distributors, contractors and competition in your category of expertise
  • Embrace, utilize and demonstrate fluency in sales technology such as CRM, Tableau and Dodge reporting
  • Learn about the use of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) tools and their relevance in selling at ASC-ES
  • 80% Contractor / 10% Distribution / 5% Engineer / 5% Administrative
