About The Position

About the role Field Services Technicians perform tasks associated with hazardous and non-hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, facility & equipment decontamination, above ground and underground tank cleaning activities, and confined space entry projects. Traveling to work sites all over the southeast.

Requirements

Valid state driver’s license required.
Experience in construction preferred or related industry.
High School Diploma / GED preferred; Reworld offers GED Works – a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED.
Must have basic computer skills.
Ability to travel 35% of the year.
Ability to use heavy, light, and handheld equipment (forklift, track hoe, backhoe, skid steer, etc.).
Ability to demonstrate how your actions support Reworld Values and Behaviors, including Safe and Inclusive Workplace, Delivering Results through Trust and Building Breakthrough Capabilities.
Must exercise good judgement and critical thinking skills.
Able to pass respirator fit test and maintain respiratory clearance.
Ability to be “On-call” and work overtime if required.

Responsibilities

Ensure Health and Safety policies and processes are always followed.
Operate light and heavy equipment such as pumps, vacuum equipment, generators, pressure washers, skid loaders, and hand power tools.
Perform work activities related to chemical, oil, and water spills.
Work in atmospheres and locations with the potential for exposure to various chemical and physical agents, some may be hazardous, toxic, or corrosive.
Work in confined spaces above & below ground and on & under equipment. Work at elevations including working from ladders, scaffolding, and power lifts.
Complete associated paperwork, including but not limited to daily worksheets, tailgate safety sheets, vehicle inspections, equipment inspections, and Health and Safety requirements & permits.
