About The Position

Position Overview: The Field Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our centrifuge equipment at customer sites. The technician plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our products, ultimately contributing to customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements

High school diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience
Associate degree or technical certificate in electro-mechanical technology (or similar), plus 3+ years of relevant experience
Strong technical aptitude with experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents (e.g.- engineering drawings, manuals, BOMs, etc.).
Interpret diagrams, schematics, and service manuals to perform precise machinery setup, including rigging, positioning equipment, fitting bearings, aligning gears/shafts, and connecting motors, couplings, and belts; then test, align, and adjust equipment to required tolerances.
Conduct predictive and operational maintenance, including diagnosing issues, repairing or replacing defective parts, and pneumatic systems
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently

Nice To Haves

Relevant certifications such as Certified Electronics Technician (CET) are a plus
Associate degree or technical certificate in electro-mechanical technology (or similar), plus 3+ years of relevant experience
Millwright Certification
