We have an opportunity for a Field Service Technician to join our Pool Team. You will assist our customers by processing orders, preparing correspondence, answering phones, and fulfilling customer inquiries with a goal of maintaining customer satisfaction. You will: Communicate directly with customers to recommend spare parts, schedule service visits, and answer technical questions. Provide training to customers and maintenance personnel on operation, spare parts requirements, and safety of equipment. Track technical and service issues, and ensure all inquiries and issues are resolved completely, quickly, and efficiently. Manage the service needs of the company in terms of scheduling resources and trips to meet the demands of our customers and partners. Coordinate with management and other operational groups (including internal and external customers) to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of service and training activities.

Requirements

  • EPA certificate is required, at a minimum.
  • 3+ years of professional experience working in HVAC and/or equipment repair.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist at the waist.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist consistently throughout shift.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with gas compression, refrigeration, gas recovery, and/or gas separation equipment is preferred.
  • Experience working with industrial equipment for renewable energy, agricultural, brewing, dairy, and/or food and beverage, as well as technical equipment in military and/or heavy-industrial (e.g., oil and gas, refining, chemical, etc.) environments will also be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, analyze, and execute process corrections and improvements for installed swimming pool heat pumps.
