About The Position

A growing provider of personal emergency response solutions is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Field Service Technician to support clients across a regional service area. This role involves hands-on technical work combined with strong interpersonal interaction, primarily serving seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes. This is a part-time position averaging 30 hours per week, with scheduling based on appointment demand.

Requirements

Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
Ability to work effectively with elderly and disabled populations
Valid driverâs license and reliable transportation required
Willingness to travel within the region and occasionally for longer appointments (up to a few hours round trip)
Availability during standard business hours with some flexibility as needed
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with applicable laws

Responsibilities

Install, configure, service, and retrieve personal emergency response systems (PERS) in client homes
Provide basic technical support and troubleshoot equipment issues on-site
Deliver a high level of customer service with patience and professionalism
Maintain accurate service records and communicate updates as needed
Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours equipment-related service requests (non-medical emergencies)
Occasionally travel to support training of new technicians (expenses covered)
