We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Field Service Technician at XOS, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful installation, maintenance, and repair of our equipment. You will collaborate with customers, internal teams, and technical support to deliver top-notch service and uphold our reputation for quality and reliability. Your expertise and problem-solving skills will be essential in delivering top-notch service and contributing to the overall growth of our business.

Requirements

  • 1–5 years of technical experience, with strong electro-mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic troubleshooting tools.
  • Willingness to travel 80–90%, including overnight trips; must live near a major airport.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a positive customer experience while representing our products and services.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair XOS instruments on-site, providing timely solutions.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Communicate directly with customers, sales reps, and distributors both in-person and by phone.
  • Collaborate with internal support and applications teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Provide training to customers and end-users on proper operation and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate service records, including reports, documentation, and inventory.
  • Build strong customer relationships and gather field feedback to support product and service improvements.
