About The Position

Caffeinated Coffee Repairs is seeking a passionate individual with a love for coffee to join their team as a Service Technician in Austin, Texas. The role involves performing service calls, preventative maintenance, and installations of various coffee equipment, including espresso machines, brewers, and grinding equipment, for customers. The company is one of the largest vendors in the nation, helping to keep the coffee world brewing. New hires will begin by riding along with a certified technician and will be enrolled in a certification class. Once trained and certified, technicians will operate independently with a company vehicle. While the job is mostly independent, a team-oriented approach is emphasized for mutual support. The position requires strong customer interaction skills and satisfaction. Technicians will work on advanced equipment, necessitating frequent troubleshooting. No prior technical experience is required, and candidates with a genuine enthusiasm for coffee and a willingness to learn are welcome. Previous experience in appliance repair or as a barista is considered a plus.

Requirements

  • Smartphone proficiency for inventory management, scheduling, and other tasks.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must maintain a reliable smartphone capable of accessing required training, scheduling, and communication tools.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work and training during the initial training period.

Responsibilities

  • Repair commercial espresso, coffee brewing, coffee grinding, and water systems throughout an assigned territory
  • Foster strong customer relationships and inspire loyalty through professional and reliable service adhering to safety standards.
  • Meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements by conducting thorough inspections, timely maintenance, and accurate paperwork completion.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
