About The Position

Daniels Health is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide critical medical waste services to hospitals. This hands-on role involves working directly with hospital staff at Glenbrook Hospital and Condell Medical Center to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation. The technician will inspect and service Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, including procedural spaces, and will be responsible for lifting, moving, and organizing containers. The company is a healthcare service provider focusing on safety systems and medical waste collection, aiming to reduce needlestick injuries, improve infection control, and lessen environmental burden.

Requirements

  • Someone who s physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and enjoys active, on-the-go work.
  • Personal transportation to both work sites.
  • A team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail especially when it comes to paperwork and procedures.
  • Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel between assigned locations.
  • A can-do attitude and previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role.

Responsibilities

  • Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
  • Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
  • Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
  • Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
  • Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
  • Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
  • Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
