This position involves performing service repairs and preventive maintenance, while providing superior service and representing Altorfer’s professional image. The role requires working in the field/shop environment and at customer jobsites, with travel between locations. Key responsibilities include properly completing all service reports, inspection checklists, and timecards, as well as communicating job status to customers and office personnel. The technician must be proficient in using SIS, ET, parts, and service manuals, and capable of in-depth electrical, hydraulic, and power train troubleshooting. Maintaining company-supplied tooling and equipment, including a service vehicle, is essential. The role emphasizes efficient, high-quality repairs, maintaining a clean working environment, and taking full ownership of tasks while adhering to safe working practices and industry standards. A high level of customer satisfaction, excellent work ethic, neat appearance, and good communication skills are crucial.
