Install, repair, and maintain hydraulic and electrical drilling equipment, including iron roughnecks, catwalks, and laydown machines. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work long hours in all weather conditions, and a willingness to travel to drilling sites across the U.S., with occasional international assignments. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Requirements

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field.
  • Familiarity with oilfield drilling equipment and operations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid drivers license
  • High School Diploma required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in field service, specifically with hydraulic and electrical systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical training or the equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Must understand and comply with all company safety rules and regulations.
  • Install, repair, and maintain hydraulic and electrical drilling equipment.
  • Must be willing to travel (~75% Travel), including overnight travel.
  • Travel primarily within the U.S., with potential for international assignments.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Work long hours in various weather conditions.
  • Maintain detailed service records and complete required documentation.
  • Stay organized and manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to relocate and work out of Permian Basin area.
