About The Position

CDL Field Service Technician II/III – Eductor / Vacuum Truck Operator Dover Environmental Solutions – A Liquid Environmental Solutions Company Location: Grand Rapids, MI Compensation between $30 to 35/hr (for experienced Vacuum and/or Eductor truck operators) Full-Time | Monday – Friday | Overtime Available Build a Skilled Career in Environmental Services Dover Environmental Solutions, a Liquid Environmental Solutions (LES) company , is hiring CDL Field Service Technicians to operate specialized eductor/vactor vacuum trucks used to maintain critical wastewater and stormwater infrastructure. This role is ideal for CDL drivers who enjoy hands-on work, operating powerful equipment, and solving real-world problems in the field . Our technicians perform important environmental services that keep municipal systems, commercial facilities, and industrial infrastructure operating safely and efficiently. Requirements

  • Valid CDL Class A or B license
  • Tanker endorsement (or ability to obtain)
  • Valid DOT Medical Card
  • Safe driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and safety mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating vacuum trucks, eductor trucks, or vactor equipment
  • Experience with hydro jetting, hydro excavation, or sewer cleaning
  • Municipal wastewater or environmental services experience
  • Confined space entry experience

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate eductor/vactor vacuum trucks and related equipment
  • Perform hydro excavation, vacuum extraction, and high-pressure jetting
  • Service infrastructure including: Stormwater systems Lift stations Catch basins Filter vaults Sewer and drainage systems
  • Set up hoses, vacuum systems, and jetting equipment at job sites
  • Monitor equipment performance during operation
  • Communicate with customers and supervisors regarding job scope and safety
  • Complete service reports and required job documentation
  • Assist with proper cleanup and disposal of materials
  • Maintain trucks and equipment in safe operating condition
  • Follow all DOT, OSHA, and environmental safety regulations
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Secure work zones and maintain safe job site conditions
  • Follow confined space entry procedures when required
