About The Position

Key Obsessions: Lead Field Service team Provide direction, mentoring, and feedback to Field Service Supervisors, fostering technical growth. Schedule engineering resources effectively to meet project demands and ensure workload balance. Provide training, development, and career growth opportunities for team members. Ensure compliance with Aagard standards, industry requirements, and safe work practices. Allocate resources Schedule Field Service Technicians for upcoming travel. Collaborate with Assembly teams to determine the best resource for travel needs. Schedule Field Service Technicians for in-house activities, to include retrofit assembly, training, resolving tech support issues, testing machines. Monitor resource allocation to optimize efficiency and project completion timelines. Ensure the Aagard experience Ensure technicians are the best technicians to work with in the customer facilities. Ensure technicians are independently proficient at problem solving in the field. Ensure technicians deliver superior customer experience that surpasses expectations. Promote continuous improvement and customer-focused practices to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Mechanical Technology, Mechanical Drafting, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field plus 3 years or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Ability to provide training that is needed to be travel ready, including machine controls
  • Demonstrate technical understanding of machinery and processes
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and use of correct terminology
  • Ability to view and understand CAD drawings and experience with Microsoft products
  • Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time, which may include any day of the week, and comply with applicable travel requirements
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid passport (cost reimbursed by Aagard)
  • Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb

  • Experience or training with PCs, Servos, PLCs preferred
