As a Field Service Representative for Rolls-Royce, you’ll support the F-405 aircraft system and work to provide technical guidance to the customer by establishing and maintaining a close liaison with relevant sections of the customer’s organization, Rolls-Royce Customer Support, Engineering and Program Management. Requirements

  • An Associate’s degree with 4+ years of Aviation/Propulsion Maintenance experience
  • A Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of Aviation/Propulsion Maintenance experience
  • A Masters degree with 0 years of Aviation Maintenance/Propulsion experience
  • A Ph.D. degree with 0 years of Aviation Maintenance/Propulsion experience
  • 6+ years of Aviation Maintenance/Propulsion experience in lieu of a degree
  • A minimum of 5 Years of experience Maintaining, Operating, Testing or Equivalent Aircraft Gas Turbine Engine experience
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the applicable regulations of relevant airworthiness authorities
  • Prior F405 / T-45 maintenance experience
  • Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
  • Familiar with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790 requirements
  • Experience with RR Engine Tracking System Database and NALCOMIS
  • Computer competency using Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong technical and theoretical knowledge and aptitude of jet engine design, construction, and systems operation

Responsibilities

  • Support F405 CLS Mission Care - United States Navy Program.
  • Accountable to the F405 CLS Site Manager and lead in executing Program and Deployed Services responsibilities.
  • Backfill others in the event of absences, temporary duty away from home station, etc.
  • Comply with any requirement to relocate assignment as determined by the business and / or the customer to ensure company business objectives and contract deliverables are met and customer operational requirements are supported.
  • Provide technical support and advise on all aspects of engine operation, aircrew debriefs, flight line troubleshooting, shop maintenance procedures, acceptance criteria, test procedures and future modification requirements.
  • Provide engine-based OJT for the T-45 CLS contractor mechanic.
