About The Position

We are offering a $5000 Sign on Bonus for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Hilliard, OH. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Completing repair activities on generators or components Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of service Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools Responsibilities

Requirements

Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
Proficient experience with electrical repair and maintenance
Basic Diesel Engine experience.
Proficient troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components.
Understanding switchgear schematics.
A current valid license is required for this role
This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
3 years driving experience
This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age
